Nine Black Alps' latest venture into the world of multinational entertainment comes into fruition with the release of 'Pocket Full Of Stars'.

The song, recorded in Los Angeles by Dave Sardy as part of the 'Love/Hate' sessions was donated by the band for the upcoming summer blockbuster 'Surf's Up'.

The film, due for a 10th August release through Sony Pictures, is about penguins who surf.

Trivia nerds should fact themselves into a frenzy with the knowledge that 'Pocket Full Of Stars' is the first Nine Black Alps song to feature a guest musician, Hayley Hutchinson, who provides backing vocals and brush-like percission. To hear 'Pocket Full Of Stars' click here.
