Just saying a massive thank you to anybody who came to any of our shows over the last couple of weeks. Sorry if that sounds like Radio One DJ talk but we mean it. It will probably be our last tour for a while so we are really happy that you all made it one of our best.

And as for the rest of 2008, we'll probably be taking a bit of time off to recuperate from the past few months touring. As some of you may already know, we've parted company from Island Records. This means that, in theory, we can now make all kinds of strange new music whenever and wherever we want which is fairly exciting.

So for the rest of Spring we'll be keeping a low profile but stay busy with lots of different projects whether it be recording other bands, recording with other bands, taking photographs of other bands, recording non-bands, watching other bands, taking photographs of bands recording, watching things other than bands, watching bands do things other than recording and so on... In amongst all of these things, the next Nine Black Alps record should slowly be taking shape.

And when we know more about this, then you will too.
